It all started in 1983, when our family ran a small bar facing the Rambla del Raval.
At that time, El Raval was known as the Barrio Chino (Chinatown). Our family business woke up to ‘carajillos’ and pork sandwiches, followed by midday tapas washed down with a ‘quinto’ of beer and saw out the evening with mixed drinks and hamburgers.
As new neighbours arrived from all parts of the world, our hamburgers started to get more popular. They were a dish that brough together different cultures.
